Great show guys! Howard & Kurt – funny as usual. Danny, been reading your blog…I wish I was travelling again man. Awesome to hear you call in and talk baseball!
On a serious note, most Americans don’t realize this but Ethiopia is one of the oldest countries in the world. We’re talking unbroken civillization as old as China and India. The Greeks thoguht the Ethiopians were the only mortals worthy of dining with the gods. The Egyptians were in constant fear of being conquered by Ethiopia. The were a major power in the ancient world. So it I can see how the Ethiopians would have a high opinion of themselves.
Also regarding Hogan’s Heroes – it was a P.O.W. camp and even though the Nazis were pricks they for the most part followed the Geneva Convention. So not compeltely in bad taste! Still I agree it was a bad premise for a tv show.
